Life-style integrated Functional Exercises – RCT
Participants:
Older adults 70+ years
Recurrent fall history or injurious fall
Able to mobilise independently
LiFE was compared to
Structured program (exercises for balance and lower limb strength, done three times a week)
Sham control fall prevention program (gentle exercise)
Outcome Measures:
Fall rates over 12months
Static and dynamic balance
Ankle, knee and hip strength
Balance self efficacy
Daily living activities
Participation;
Habitual physical activity;
Quality of life
